UCSF Friend to Friend Specialty Shop

Friend to Friend touches the lives of women of all ages who undergo cancer treatment and look to us for comfortable cancer related products including mastectomy bras, flattering swimsuits, breast prostheses, and stylish wigs.

The only shop of its kind in San Francisco, Friend to Friend is a welcoming oasis where patients can shop in privacy with the help of a supportive staff, many of whom are cancer survivors themselves.

As the holiday season approaches, we want to thank you for your continued friendship and commitment to our work at the UCSF Friend to Friend specialty shop.

Because of donors like you, we serve women in the Bay Area and beyond who face financial challenges. Since 2005, we have provided more than $650,000 in charitable care to over 2,500 women and teenagers with cancer.

We look forward to serving women and girls in need at our Mt. Zion location and our new Mission Bay location at the UCSF Precision Cancer Medicine Building, opening in 2019.  We are excited to expand our reach and provide cancer care necessities to a broader community of patients and visitors at Mission Bay.

We are so proud of our accomplishments this year, but we still need your support to sustain our momentum and remain a vital community resource for all women affected by cancer.  Will you join our efforts and make a generous tax-deductible, year-end gift to the UCSF Friend to Friend specialty shop today?

Your gift will provide comfort:

$500 – stylish wigs and head coverings

$350 - breast prosthesis

$100 – post-surgical bra and camisole for one patient

Your generosity has a profound impact on the lives of our patients and their families. With every gift, you help us remain a welcoming oasis where patients can shop in privacy with the help of supportive staff members, many of whom are cancer survivors themselves.
